Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal is a celebrated guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer, and educator with a career spanning over 35 years. Known for technical virtuosity and innovative originality, Bumblefoot has produced, mixed, and mastered albums across rock, metal, and beyond.

His production work is characterized by powerful, crystal-clear mixes, and a deep understanding of what makes a song connect.  From his explosive guitar work with Guns N’ Roses, Sons of Apollo, and solo career, Bumblefoot brings the same passion, precision, and creativity to the producer’s chair.

Based in New Jersey, Ron delivers full-service production: songwriting, arranging, tracking, mixing, mastering, and artistic direction.

A former Professor teaching music production at SUNY Purchase College, Ron has vast experience in rock, metal, progressive, alternative, instrumental, pop, punk, funk, folk, blues, hip-hop, jazz, Latin, classical, opera, orchestration, and TV/film/videogame scores.
